I’m an illustrator and designer. I make work that combines both fields, clean and simple design, and illustrative mark-making and subjects. I grew up in a family of artists, so being encouraged to make weird things has always felt normal to me.
My work matters to me because I’m interested in visual impact more than hidden meaning. I’m drawn to images that are direct, odd, and engaging, and I aim for that same energy. I like how images communicate. I like figuring out how to guide someone’s eye, how design choices affect what people notice. I’m inspired by simplicity and soft emotion. I use art and design to guide the eye, not the heart, so to speak.
With my work, I aim to make pieces that catch someone’s eye and hold it for a moment longer than expected. I want people to stop scrolling or look twice. I want to create art that encourages curiosity rather than directing emotion.
